Dr. Alan Vincent Lee provides clinical services to adolescent and adult patients, specializing in the evaluation and management of chronic disease. Dr. Lee is a Board eligible Internist who received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. Dr. Lee joined GPHA's medical staff in August 2000.
Dr. Zarrin Shouraie provides care for babies, children and teens with acute and chronic diseases as well as routine comprehensive well-childcare. She is Board-certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine with extensive experience in Pediatrics. Dr. Shouraie received her medical degree from Tehran University, Iran, and completed residency programs at Episcopal Hospital and the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shouraie then completed fellowship training in Neonatology at Philadelphia General Hospital. Dr. Shouraie joined GPHA's medical staff in 1983.
Dr. Janet E. Young is GPHA's Medical Director. She provides care for adolescents and adults with acute and chronic diseases. She also provides routine gynecology services and has provided HIV clinical care since 1989. Dr. Young is Board-certified in Internal Medicine. She received her Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Rowshan Z. Alavi is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Tehran University School of Medicine. Dr. Alavi completed her Pediatric Residency at Philadelphia General Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. She aslo received her Fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases from St. Christopher Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Alavi joined GPHA’s Medical Staff in 2008 at the Frankford Avenue Health Center.
Pamneit Bhogalis Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She received her Residency training in Family Practice from the Chestnut Hill Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bhogal also received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bhogal received her undergraduate degree from Temple University, College of Science and Technology, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bhogal joined GPHA’s Medical Staff in 2010.
Dr. Elizabeth Carazoreceived her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce Puerto Rico.She completed her Residency training in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent’s MedicalCenter in Bridgeport, Connecticut.Dr. Carazo joined GPHA’s Medical Staff in 2007 as an Internist.
Dr. Faranak Dabir
received her Medical degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences. She completed her Residency training in Internal Medicine at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Dabir is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Dabir joined GPHA’s medical staff at the FAHC in 2008.
Stephanie Green holds a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Women’s Health and Midwifery, Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Green is a licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Midwives. Ms. Green joined the professional staff of GPHA in 2008 at the Hunting Park Health Center.
Dr. Urmila Gujrathi
received her Residency Training at the Wilmington Medical Center is Pediatrics and received her Medical Degree from the Gajara Raje Medical School in Gwalior, India. Dr. Gujrathi is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Gujrathi joined GPHA’s Medical Staff in 2008 and will be providing care for our pediatric patients.
Vivian Lowenstein holds her degree in Nurse-Midwifery from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Lowenstein also has Post-Masters from the Regional Training Center for Nurse-Midwifery and Nurse Practitioner Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Lowenstein joined GPHA’s professional in 2008 at the Frankford Avenue Health Center.
Lisa Marcus holds a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Philadelphia, PA. Ms. Marcus is a licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. Ms. Marcus joined GPHA’s professional staff in 2008 at the Frankford Avenue Health Center.
Daniel-Joseph McCormick is a graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Pa. He completed training as a Physician Assistant at Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA. Mr. McCormick received his certification from the National Commission of Physicians Assistants. He joined GPHA’s professional Staff in 2009 at the Southeast Health Center.
Tisa Taylorreceived her Bachelor of Science Degree from Shippensburg University. Dr. Taylor also received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Penn State College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Dr. Taylor is board eligible in Pediatrics and provides well-child care for babies, children and teens. Dr. Taylor joined GPHA’s Medical Staff in 2010.
Christine Watts holds a Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Case Western Reserve University. Ms. Watts has also received her Certificate in Nurse Midwifery from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. Ms. Watts is a Certified Nurse Midwife. Ms. Watts joined GPHA’s Medical Staff in 2010.
Carolyn Franco received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Franco also received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Franco joined GPHA’s professional dental staff in 2008 at the 4510 Frankford Avenue Dental Center.
